If you put hte acetate over the top and turn on the light, you project the image over the wall with the light. Like a movie projector. The guy had a collection of this acetates. Mabye he didn't like movies he liked see covers projected over his living room wall. He wrote several books on 70's and 80's in brazil about the art of comic books, maybe he used as pieces for workshop for teach about how to draw comics.
Maybe he tecah on art school? Who knows! I not a expert on the use of those things. Anyway, you can use this pieces as decoration, put ni frame or something. Or juts collect this things.
This is a original wierd piece. Doesn look like old or vintage piece, because the acetate is in very nice condition. Very nice condition. Niec piece.
