nO the back is his name vaughn f. Bode â? July 1968â? Written in light bleu pencil.
It's sort of an unusual piece by bode, looks almost like conan the barbarian. This piece measures 9â? X 11 â½â?. It's black & white done, i believe, with markers. The no. 59 and title are pasted on. Bode signed it twice once by teh chains in drawing and again on right side.
(possibly three times if yuo count the back signature as noted above. ) this is nicely detailed work, which he didn't do too much. Condition drawing is firmly mounted to cardstock type paper. This may have been drawn on a tracing paper sheet and hten mounted. There si very little white-out and pencil line.
Paste-ups are starting to discolor. There are a couple cresaes going across the bottom third. They go from left side, through sword and a bit past bode's signature. They do not go all the way across drawing. This may have resulted frmo mounting because the cardstock paper is not creased.
Still, these creases do not detract much at all frmo art. Back has some odl tape and tape stains that don't affect art. Overall condition fine/very fine. Buyer pays exact shipping charge to be determined after auction has ended adn item is packed and weighed, plus $.
